Time to grab a cold drink, sit down, sit back, and get ready to read this weeks: Before It Really Starts!

Week 6 is upon us and the injuries keep piling up, all while we kick off bye weeks as well! Gonna be a fun one for sure! 

Let’s see what the fantasy Gods have in store for us in these matchups, shall we?!?!

As usual, we start with the current number 1 team! What was once Baby Dons throne, Jesus has taken it over! But will it be for just one week? Let’s dig in and see…

Jesus Christ/Kyle vs Hot4StephenRoss/Gregg

Ah, the number 1 seed vs the number 8! Well, it’s not been a unicorn and rainbow kinda season so far for Greg, as he sits 1-4 and in the 8th overall spot. But, if you look closer, it’s not all Greg’s fault. He has a good team, and his team puts up good numbers…the issue is, every week, his opponent, just simply seems to put up a butt load of points. Don’t believe me? Well, how’s this for an example…Week 2, Greg puts up a 140 points, while Sam lays down the smack down with 176. Week 4, Greg puts up 155, while Paff lays down yet smack down with 192! Week 5, though Greg didn’t do so hot at all, with only 116, still, would have been hard to beat the smack down Josh gave him at 179! So if that doesn’t tell you something, I don’t know what does…as a matter a fact, Greg has the second most points scored against him! 

Unfortunately, things don’t get any easier for Greg, as he now gets to face a team that is averaging 166 points every week! Yikes! On top of that, Jesus is coming off a week where he just beat the all time highest scoring record in the league! In other words, Jesus just dominates and is on a whole other level! 

For Greg…

The Good news is, Rodgers and Dillion, both have a plus matchup against the Jets. 

Godwin, should be getting back to truly being 100% and has a juicy matchup against Pit! And you’ll get to see what Walker is made of as the true number 1 RB against Ari! 

The Bad…

You’re playing Jesus!!! Lol

As for Jesus…

The good news is, your stud of a QB, Josh Allen, has yet another fun matchup against KC and should be a shoot out! 

The Bad…

There are a few question marks that could cause you to not perform as high as normal. Ekeler has a tough matchup against your Bronco D. And speaking of Broncos, you have Gordon in your flex spot…Will he be a stud with Williams out of the way, or will he become a victim of the poor offense we’ve seen over and over the past few weeks? And then sticking with with your RBs, Sanders doesn’t have a cake walk against Dallas D either. 

Greg, cross your fingers, clinch your butt cheeks and grab a cold beer, because you’re going to need a miracle to beat Jesus. Hope you’ve said some prayers, as my prediction is that Jesus takes his 5th win in a row, but it won’t be by a wide margin that Greg is use to seeing!!

The Lions fan, who loses sleep due to a baby…Brad, The PuttPutt Man, Putnam!!

The Eagles fan, who stays quiet till he can’t stay quiet no more! 

Josh, The Big Eagle, Brown!!

Ah yeah! We have ourselves a good one in this match folks! Bradley, who currently sits number 2 overall vs Josh, number 6 have a solid matchup against each other! But don’t let either side fool you here, as both have good teams…both have seen their teams score in the 170s and both have seen their teams score in the 120s! Who will come out on top? Let’s dig in and let me show you how close this will be!!…

Both had one player a piece start things off for them on Thur, but neither set themselves up for a better or higher chance of winning, as Brads McLaurin only scored 8.20 points to Josh’s, Montgomery, only coming up with 9!! 

Both have solid QBs, but tough matchups, as Brad has Mahomes against Buffs D and Josh has Hurts against Dal D! 

Both have solid RBs, but I give Josh the slight edge, with him having solid and steady, Barkley, and Cooks vs Brads, up and coming, Breece Hall and Singletary. 

Now this is where Brad takes edge in the WR category, but it’s not by much, with him having Jefferson and the not so hot, Chase, as of late. Vs Josh’s, believe it or not, staying consistent l, Mr. Metcalf and boom or bust Gabe Davis!!

My prediction…

Though this definitely seems like it’s going to be a nail biter…I’m giving this one to Josh, as I like most of this players matchups vs Brads this week! However, I will say this, if Chase actually shows up and puts up 20 or more points, my vote swings back towards Brad side at that point. I will add this too, Chase is due for a big game for two reasons…1. It’s just been way too long! 2. I just traded him away in Dynasty, so I’m sure he’ll remind me why I shouldn’t have this week! Lol! But, it could definitely  go either side! Good luck to you both! I feel like y’all will be sweating a lot this  Sunday! The good news is, you won’t have to wait till Monday night to find out who wins this one, as it’ll be in the books after Sunday nights game! 

Next up…

You know him as your Commish, the one and only, Paff Daddy vs. another daddy, whom you call a cheating brother, but we know deep down, he’s as solid as they come…Mr. Roberto, the Bobster! 

Ah yeah, this one will be a good one as well. Though PaffDaddy, sits number 3 overall and Robert sits number 9, there is no rest for the weary! Let’s dig in…

Bobs team is actually pretty good! Kirk Cousins isn’t one of the big names like Allen and Mahomes, but he definitely is one of the most consistent QBS out there. Not to mention, he has a juicy matchup against one of the most favorable teams towards QBs, in the Miami Dolphins. I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of Cousins to Jefferson TDs in this game!

Scroll down a little, and you’ll see two very solid RBs in CMC and Aaron Jones. Though CMC has a tough matchup, with all the trade talk of him going to Buff, this could be a see ya later, here’s something to remember me by, type of game from him! Jones on the other hand, has a very favorable matchup against the Jets! 

WRs are solid as well, Lamb has been doing well, Kirk has been come down lately, but that doesn’t mean he won’t go back up! 

As for me…

Let me toot a little horn some, but not get to cocky, as I know how some of these jail bait type of games go sometimes…

Let’s start with what I’m most excited about..

The TB be Pit game! Now, looking at it, Tom Brady, Fournette and Evans should all very much hit home runs in this one! But, there’s one thing that worry’s me, and it’s what my ol pal, Drew, said. “I think Pit is going to surprise TB!” So, because I have those nagging words in my head from him, I can’t let my big eyes take over what I my heart is saying is going to be big! Lol!

Moving on…

Nick Chubb is a beast, but, I gotta say, I am lowering my expectations out of him this week, as he plays a very stout NE run defense! 

Now for Deebo, I’m not going to lie, I’m excited about him this week! Yes I know, he’s not put up Deebo like numbers this year, but, against Atl, I thinking the guy puts up at least 25 points!! 

And then there’s Ertz, where I’ve been pleasantly surprised and very happy with, and yet again, he has a good matchup against Sea! 

My prediction…

Again, I’m not betting against myself, and to be honest, with my matchups on deck….I’m hoping for a Top Dog week! Here’s hoping! Lol. 

Good luck Robert, I’m sure, all my expectations will go down the drain, I’ll be pissed off, and will lose to you this week! So with that being said, if that happens, you owe me a beer!! 

Also, I want to add, keep a close eye on both Aaron Jones for Robert and Mike Evans for me…those are the two that were involved with a big trade a couple weeks back, so let’s see who has the better fantasy week between the two alone!!

It’s the two Florida boys!!! That’s right! On one side of FL, we have the one and only Connor, whose last name always ends in a Day!! Against the other side of FL, Jake, the slippery, snake, who slithered himself into one big mess of a hole, as he sits 0-5 and can’t catch a break!

That’s right folks, you read that right 0-5!!! And well, I’ve said before, and I’ll say it, yet again, JACOOOOOBBBBBB!!! Change your flipping name and pic, and you will most definitely win!!!! 

But, the fact in the matter is, I can put money on it, that Jake hasn’t even read a single post that I’ve posted. Therefore, he has no idea that I’ve been giving him his answer and his ticket to winning all along! Therefore, I can say whatever I want about Jake, because he won’t even know anyways!

Jake, you won’t read this post, and you won’t change your name…so you’ll lose. I would love nothing more than to tell you that your whole team has great matchups and you actually stand a very good chance of upsetting Connor on this one…but the fact in the matter is, you’ll slip, you’ll fall and you’ll choke, therefore losing, all because of a damn name! Unbelievable!!

Last, but not least…

The Green eggs and ham, Sam vs the whiff to the right, now whiff to the left, grab your partner and do the Whiffer dance man, Drew!!

Oh boy, this matchup should be yet another good one! Check this out…

Sam has Lamar, against a good defense in the Giants. Drew has Murray, against a bad defense in Sea! I like it!

Sam has Hunt, but against NE. Drew has Harris, against TB. I don’t like it!

Sam has Stevenson, against Cleveland. But, Harris has been practicing all week on a limited basis, and could steal touches Olof he does end up playing! I like it and I don’t!

Drew has Mixon, but against NO! I like it and I don’t! 

Sam has Kupp and Higgins! Drew has AJ Brown and Amari Cooper! I like it!!

Like I said, this one should be a good one! A lot of pluses and minuses on both sides this week! 

My prediction…

Though Drew likes to whiff those golf balls…and though Drew started out on the wrong foot Thur night with Samuel only putting up 2.60…I say he gives Sam the upset here, and just barely squeaks by again. 

Some advice for you Sam…

If you wanna win, add some salt to those green eggs and ham, and I assure you, Sam, your team will be a slam!
